Technical Sales Engineer
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for the presentation of Fibergrate
products and services to architectural and engineering firms and to corporate
engineering departments within an assigned geography or account listing.
Presents and promotes Fibergrate products and services to architectural and
engineering firms within an assigned geographic region and assigned account
Canvasses the various construction data services for potential projects in the
design phase, active bidding projects, past completed projects for
Architectural/Engineering firms of record. Uses this information to develop a
position of sole/preferred specification within the firm's Master Specification or
specific project specification through direct telephone, email and/or social
network contact
Maintains accurate files and records involving Fibergrate accounts by executing
necessary paperwork such as maintaining a Sales Force Automation (SFA)
database with projects and activities associated with that project and or account
Communicates closely with Fibergrate Territory Managers, independent Sales
Representatives and Regional Sales Managers regarding product
recommendations/developed specifications of projects within their SFA project
Gives group presentations/educational seminars (remote web based) to
engineers and architects relating to Fibergrate products and services
Prequalifies assigned Trade Show or other sourced leads in advance of releasing
to the Field Sales team
Organizes and prioritizes activities. Maintaining a robust activity level split
between new prospecting, established client development and routine follow up
Other Requirements
Flexible to working night shifts. Required to work North American normal
business hours. Fluent (spoken and written) in English. Spanish and/or French
additionally preferred but not required
Contacts a minimum of 40-50 clients per week via telephone and/or email
Enters a minimum of 6-8 new target projects per week within SFA

Skills, experience & qualification
BE/BS - Structural Engineering or equivalent

4 to 6 years of construction engineering experience with at least 2 years of
experience in building products sales
Familiar with the construction specification process
Experience in Multi-National Companies highly preferred
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Past experience in GICs or BPOs
is an asset
Expert user of MS Office applications & high level of general computer

Salary: INR 1,00,000 - 5,00,000 PA.
